Sudden death

I had a cuckoo maran pass away suddenly today, she was 14 weeks or 15, I switched the flocks food to all grain by southern states and my wife wasn’t aware what food I started to feed so she was still giving medicated could this have killed her ! I just started getting eggs here and there from the batch of golden comets I raised with her she seemed a little lethargic, no one else looks sickly or acts under weather

If you still have her body, a necropsy could be done on the body by your state poultry vet to look for a cause. Keep the body cold, but not frozen, and take it in on Monday morning. Certain problems can be seen with a home necropsy. The change of feed should not have been a problem unless the chicken did not like the new feed and was not eating. Coccidiosis could have been a problem, but heart and reproductive problems may have been as well. Sorry for your loss. Here is a link for locating you state vet:
