sudden death?

I was raising 10 chicks and all of a sudden, four of them died. The first one died the first day we got them, the second one a few days later, and another the day right after the second! I also has a black chick that was healthy and had the warm, food and water it needed, but it also died after a while... the first 3 were naked-necks and they didn't seem pretty health at first. I still have six that are healthy and living life the way they should. But, I am wondering how the first 4 died and why?

are these babies that you hatched out or were they shipped?

i got them from an auction when they were around 2-3 days old. I'm not sure if they were shipped to the auctioneer or not.

Got to be careful at auctions they can very easily pick up things. I'm wondering if it's just the stress, are they showing any signs of sickness are they sneezing or anything
