Sudden refusal to go in the coop

Its getting cold and my hens suddenly won't go inside the nesting box shelter area. One girl was broody but stopped a few days ago, another is molting. But they all are roosting in the cold

Can you post some pictures please?
How old are your birds in weeks?
Do you mean that they are sleeping on the perch inside the coop and not the nest box? They are supposed to sleep on the perch. The nest box is for egg laying.

Does "nesting box shelter" = coop and the hens are roosting outside the coop.
