sudden unknown death

i just found my chicken Magnolia dead on the coop floor completely infested with larvae. she was in the spot where they usually lay their eggs, so it might have been an egg laying issue, but it was hard to check for any signs of egg binding and such with all the larvae crawling around.
she came out of the coop and had breakfast as usual this morning and there were no signs of injury. the only unusual thing was the heatwave, but it wasn't nearly as hot as it was yesterday and she had been okay.

please help

nevermind, found the problem
i cleaned her off a little and found an egg stuck there
