This morning i woke up and took care of my small flock of 34 birds ( 12 cockerels and 22 pullets) and found one of my Cornish Cross cockerels half dead. I took him into my basement and put him under a heat lamp with some food and water thinking he was just chilled because it got pretty chilly last night but he was dead a few hours later. Then later tonight I found one of my Cornish Cross pullets dead. She was just fine this morning and when I put my 6 month old beagle mix Missy on her chain she was just fine; but when I went to put the chickens in their coop for the night she was dead. There were no bite marks or signs of attacks and the cockerel was just fine the night before. Please can you help me figure out what is going on with my flock?!!!!!!!
