Thank you! That's Penny, she was one of my first hens in my first flock, and she was the cuddliest bird I've ever met. Would sit on my lap being petted for a half hour. At the time, I didn't realize how out of the ordinary she was!

My chickens have me trained.Unless mine need medical attention I'm not permitted to pick them up .If my chickens run from me I've crossed a boundary I shouldn't have crossed. I'm only allowed to touch a tail feather as they walk by lol

Ok so I'm noticing also they suddenly became scared of various 'objects'. Having given them many corn cobs as treats as chicks, suddenly today a corn cob was life threatening
