Suddenly pecking one hen after getting rid of rooster.

Background: We have 8 hens. A few different breeds. They are about 8 months old. They don't have a typical coop; they have a very large stall in a barn and they free range all day. Approximately 3 weeks ago we got rid of our extremely aggressive rooster.

Problem: Our overly playful Goldendoodle likes to chase the chickens whenever she gets a chance. I let her out at 5 am and when I went to let her back in, I noticed that she had been "playing" with Betty, my favorite chicken. Upon inspection, Betty was fine just wet from slobber and slightly traumatized. I didn't realize the chickens were already out for the day when I let the dog out. Now my main problem is since that incident this morning I noticed that the other hens are attacking Betty trying to peck at her eyes and trying to pull her feathers out. Not one particular culprit they are all involved except Betty's best friend, Suzie. I thoroughly examined Betty and she has no external wounds.
After observing their behavior, I realized that Betty is acting somewhat strangely. She is running up to the hens that resembled the rooster and trying to get under them.
I haven't noticed this behavior until today. Maybe she misses the rooster? Or maybe he provided protection for her and now that he's gone the other hens don't want her around. Maybe they smell the dog on Betty and don't want her around because of that?

I would separate her in a cage within sight of the rest for a few days until she improves. Chickens will often attack an odd acting member. Your hen is seeking a hiding spot or someone to protect her. So help her out.
Separate her with the one hen that isn't attacking her.
