Hi everyone. I have had chickens for about 3 years now and other then predators we have done well. Everything is clean and the same. I have 8 chickens and a turkey. One of my Rhode Island Reds who is about 18 months old started to lose her feathers as if she was molting. I figured that's all it was. My son said her poop looked like it had blood in it but I didn't get to see it. I inspected her and she has no parasites, looked good, with the exception of a lack of feathers on her chest and butt. Her comb and wattle, etc looked good. All was well at 7AM this morning, but tonight she is in a nest, wings drooping, spit hanging out of her beak and a skin like covering over her eyes, but she opens them when I talk to her. I have NO idea what is wrong with her. In reading it sounds like Enteric disease, but then is she going to infect my whole flock? Anyone have this happen to their chickens? Any help would be greatly appreciated. THANKS
