I just got my steer from the butcher today, and ordered myself some suet this time around to make some suet cake winter treats for my chickens. Then I got to thinking....is there a way to make suet cakes for my ducks? I'm new to ducks, and can not find any info on this topic. Anybody have some input on this?

I'm so bummed no one has chimed in here. I'm searching for the same information and haven't come up with a clear answer in my internet research so far....

I would say a definite no. Suet is made from animal fat, and ducks shouldn't be fed dietary fat, they have a hard time digesting it. They also shouldn't be feed bird seed. It is hard to digest, and can impact their crop. There are so many other great treats for ducks - this just isn't one of them.

No problem @naivetefarm , this is a great place to get quick answers
