Suggestion for a Pomeranian hair brush? And a short story...

What about the Sheding Blade (I may have spelled it wrong)? Thats what I use for my 2 dogs (a hound mix and a border collie) and my grandma uses one for her two chihuhuas. It works SO good. You get piles of fur when you are done brushing them (I mean like a whole entire plastic grocery bag). I highly reccomend them.

you want a SLICKER brush and a steel comb.between the 2 there's you are all set. One of the things you need to be careful about is getting down to the skin...do not just "surface" brush. Poms tend to matt right at the skin and have lots and lots of little fluffy bits of undercoat that get right up against the skin which quickly form awful matts.
Also, don't ever bathe a dog that hasn't been thoroughly brushed. matted dogs that are bathed end up with much worse matts...the wet hair ,when it dries tightens up and will pull right out by the root.At our shop we never bathed a dog until all the " fluffies" were removed from the coat. Poms are time consuming to groom but they look so nice when well done
