Suggestion for book on Poultry Genetics

I am wanting to learn more about poultry genetics and was wondering if anyone has a suggestion for a good book on the topic?

There is THE book--a gynourmo textbook which is way over my head. I will try to find it...

I have yet to find a "beginner" to "intermediate" book that is useful. Most don't say enough, or are completely without pictures/examples.

I'm more interested in the other aspects of breeding such as size, egg production, etc. The color genetics is very interesting but currently I'm working on the other traits.

Most of the more modern work on commercial aspects of fowl are carried out by large private firms and are both trademarked/patented and held as confidential/secret, thus little is available.

Found another online book from 1906. I always seem to find a lot of good information in the really old books. Here is a link for downloading it

there is a great site to find books called www.addall.com we use it in the bookstore where I work all the time. It searches amazon, alibris, biblio and a ton of other sites for you.
