Suggestions needed....

Droppings look normal, the whitish gray/black color.

I am leaning more towards some sort of injury than an illness. As she shows no signs of any discharge, no respiratory distress and shes eating ok. She doesnt stretch her neck out for very long the way all the other chickens do. She will for a few seconds, but then returns to that shorter neck/puffier stance. She moves her neck when she walks but only short bobbing. Its baffling. Is it possible for chickens to sprain muscles or something like that?

This morning she isnt closing her eyes as much as yesterday evening. But she still seems subued and weak/light.

I woul bring her in for a spa treatment and observation- full body dust, special food- like adding yogurt and soem extra goodies like a scrambled egg, make sure she is eating well. see how she is in a couple of days. maybe ACV in the water?

hope she is ok...but I hate to say it, but it sounds just like one of ours we lost about 10 weeks ago (she was about 10 weeks old then). Thats the only chicken out of 25 that died on us. She acted just like that, standing funny with her neck tucked in, and always with her eyes closed. I tried diving her elecrolytes in her water with a dropper, but she just got weak, and in about 3 days she was gone. We just buried her in the pet cemetary in our yard and never knew what happened. I hope you figure it our and hope she is ok.

Thanks.

She is still about the same. Sometimes acting normal, other times back to that same weird stance and subdued behavior. She eats great though, wanting lots of treats and I find her in the coop eating by herself. She was also making it up to the rafters of the coop on her own too. Its just very baffling.

It must just be her, because even after a week or two of this, no other chickens seem affected.

I sure hope she shakes whatever it is and gets back to normal. I hate when things aren't obvious, so you can just fix that problem.
