Today, I picked up 10 chicks that I had ordered through our local farm store. I had them vaccinated for Marek's disease at hatchery. I later went back to get two more chicks (not vac.). Anyway, one of the original is getting weaker & weaker it seems. They all were introduced to water, and all have been eating, drinking etc. Including this one. My daughter held this one a bit & it seemed drowsy, but not it's worse. Youngest daughter & I have just started giving it little bits of water by spoon. (We do have sugar & electrolyte mix in water as advised by "Chickens in Five Minutes a Day" book.)
Any thing we can do?? Should we continue to try to give water..? How often?
Should we try to give it food or forget that as it may be too much for chick right now?

Thanks so much!

Hopefully it was not an illness; all others seem fine, but this cute little Barred Rock has already died since I wrote just a short time ago.
