Update 3 more hatched this morning. 3 more pipped.

We are hatching our first batch of eggs. One of 19 chicken eggs hatched at 4pm Saturday... 3 hatched this morning. 5 more have pipped.

How long is it okay to leave the fluffy hatched chicks in the incubator? I know we shouldn't open the incubator because the other eggs have pipped and I know they are fine for a while but it's been 28 hours for one and obviously will be longer for the others as time goes on.

Plus any other first hatch advice welcome! We have Olive Eggers, Blue laced red Wyandotte and Cream Legbar in there.

Thank you!

Take them all out. That's a long time. Just mist the eggs with warm water right before you close it.

Thank you One!

One more hatch question! So we have 9 total out of 19 hatched now. One has been pipped since sometime yesterday I think around 6pm ish. It looks like its still breathing and opening its beak etc... and one other that is about the same time frame but a tiny hole. One is an Olive Egger and one a Wyandotte. Should I do anything to help them or let them go? I have read conflicting things.
None of the cream legbar eggs pipped. This is day 23.
And we moved the original 4 easter eggers over to the brooder at 11am and spritz the two pipped eggs. There has been no change since then and not much before. Thanks so much. I appreciate any input.

I replied on your other thread. I think I would leave the wyandotte and olive Egger until 6 tonight. When they hit the 24 hour mark I would put some coconut oil on the membranes and see if you see any veins. Then put them back for a little while. Take out the cream legbars and candle them. Look for internal pips. Pic below. Post pics of your pips on the OE and Wyandotte.
