So I posted yesterday about my hen Maude waddles and under her ear swelling and warm. .. First it was just 1 side so I thought it was a sting..... I brought her in and gave syringed feed her Duraymicin.... This morning other side looks like it's starting to swell...... Her waddles aren't as big this morning as last night...

She was very lethargic yesterday and when she walked her would pick her feet up and stand on one foot.....

Researched Fowl Cholrea.... I'm thinking that May be it....pictures don't really look like her but feet pads hurting plus facial swelling Anybody have this before? What did you do? Should I give Tylan 50 or Sulmet?

Coryza as well as fowl cholera can cause swelling of the wattles and face.  Sulmet and sulfadimethoxine (Di-Methox, Albon) and erythromycin (Gallimycin) will treat either disease.  I can't the picture very well, but is the ear itself swollen?  Here are some links to read:

Thank you.... I don't think it's Corzya bc there's no smell....... It's the red underneath her ear... The other side is starting to swell as well but not bad .... Her waddles started to swell last night..... Today she is eating and drinking and acting normal..... I went ahead and started them on Sumlet this morning..... Should I just do Sulmet or should I give her Duraymicin by mouth as well? Thank you!!

That red underneath her ear is swollen .. Doesn't look bad in pic but it's kinda large.
