@GabrielBane I highly recommend cluckandcrow's stock to add to your lines for diversity if possible, quality birds and he's a top notch guy...

Ahhhh! Great to hear of more people with Sulms, the thread had been relatively quiet and finding anything other than GFF stock has become notoriously difficult.

I believe his came from GFF originally, but he's been breeding them for quite a while... that will give a variance to the genetics without being a complete crossing of different genetics... it's actually a better idea than complete different lines...
 
Update on our flock, we're beginning to choose breeders. Looking for no red/black in the crest or face of the silver wheatens. We can't be as selective with the ladies, albeit I think they both look like they match up to their respective color variety standards.


Here are two cockerels (technically three if you count the shy one in the back ,who is actually a breeder! He's just....ornery.), the left is a keeper, more than likely culling the one on the right;

I'm not even sure what to think of this boy, is he just a poor quality silver wheaten??
