White is the only recognized color, but I've seen blues & blacks. I breed the bantam Sultans...it's been hard to find ones with the right number of toes & the slatey legs. I hatched out some from a fellow BYC'er with six toes & pale pink legs.
So I've sold those & I've just got a trio of okay birds (not very good crests or foot feathering) from a breeder off eggbid but I'd LOVE some more bloodlines from better birds....
I will try and get some pics of my sultan hen tomorrow, she has an awesome crest and her feet feathers remind me of a cochin. I'm not real sure of leg color and toes though. How many toes should she have? She is a bantam. I just wish I had a quality roo for her. Her and my white silkie are throughing some beautiful biddies. Some come out looking silkie and some come out looking sultan. I would love to get in on a sultan project. I have looked for her a mate for months. I found one but it fell through {long story} My birds are NPIP certified too. Were clean.
