Sumatra Sexing? (Picture Heavy!)

These two beautiful guys are coming in with wonderful color (waiting for a couple stubborn white feathers to go away) but does anyone have any sexing ideas so far? I think #1 is a female and #2 may be male because I'm thinking im seeing saddle feathers but Sumatras one of the worst to sex!!

Also wondering how to keep their tails from fraying like they are currently? The edges are rough looking and I hope they smooth out - is it a feed thing? Thanks so much!

I had a feeling they were too young but its always nice to have a hunch! They are about 9 weeks old now

They actually aren't too young, then! I'm going to say that, for the moment, they both look like pullets.

Thanks so much! Males are stunning but I dont know if my serama hens could handle those spurs!
