Summer is over

Y'all would be wishing for cool weather too if you had over 50 days of 100+ heat and no rain.

I know some of you all up North have had a hard time with cold and rain, too. Has anyone had a normal summer???

It's like the country has a curtain keeping the heat down here and the cool up there.

Wow, we have been on and off in triple digits. I love Alaska, a very beautiful place that I would love to go to but I can't stand to be cold!!

I don't mind cold weather. I love the snow, but I also love summer. It would have been nice to at least have a little bit.

Our summer like the reast of the year has been very strange. Nights have been down in low 60' and high 50's. Day temps in July were very low to the point I had windows open. Aug has been hot which is as it should be. It is almost like the seasons did a reset back to an early time. The past couple of decades the season have been later and later but this year they were early by a month or two. We also had a lot of rain and real bad thunderstroms here. But that was good for us for we were in drought before, we needed the rain bad.

If this rain pattern keeps up thru winter OMG we will have alot of snow this year. That has slowly been on the increase since we moved to our new place. Of course we are a bit higher elevation too from where we moved from but still first year we did not get that much and it has increased every year since.

You know what our June Bugs were not that bad this year and the came in late also.

I saw one junebug this year clinging to my kitchen windowscreen, the other one wasn't fast enough and a chook got it

Tooo much heat and humidity (and no rain to speak of) in North Georgia. Fall/Winter can't get here fasty enough for me. I hate this heat
