I found this site by looking for an answer to this problem. My youngest (favourite) chicken Baba is bullied by her 2 housemates. They are free roaming during daytime in my small enclosed yard. The 2 bullies peck her chest, she has become bald and it's summer, our sun is extremely harsh and she got sunburnt today. Please, I am desparate to ease her discomfort, her skin is hot and irritated, no wounds though I am building a fence to separate them but I know the bullies literally see red which her chest has become. Is there anyway I can cover her chest skin for now so the feathers grow back and she doesn't get sunburnt? I have island tribe sunblock SPF50 (for kids) which is my desparate attempt to ward off the sun, I am unsuccessful in trying to make a safe chest covering so far. I have been using F10 ointment incase of infection. Baba is the nicest sweetest little girl who deserves to be comfortable ❤️
