suncast shed as a Hen house?

OH and Cmom, I looked on your site and you have an absolutely beautiful place!!!! OMGosh! Its really hard to believe there are places that are that pretty anymore!

I have a Royal Outdoor shed which it is made of vinyl and its great to use. Cut out wall for ventilations and windows and made a hardware wire for door during the nice weathers.....

All my roosts are free standing and rubber mats for their flooring.

The shed is a resin shed, you can see it on Wal-Mart.com under sheds. Its pretty nice and i hope chicken worthy. LOL It is called the suncast shed and it is 12.5 x 10. I don't know what a royal shed is? Thanks for the offer though I apprieate it!
Thanks

They are good sheds too but a little harder to put together than the Royal Outdoor sheds. Perfect size too! That is something I wanted to use that size but I didnt have that many birds. Now I do!

I didnt know WalMart sells those, I thought it was for Menards and Lowe's for the bigger sheds.

Great to wash down! Be sure to get some rubber mats if they dont have that plastic foundation. And hardware cloth it too!

They have sheds of all kinds and sizes to all the way up to the barn sizes on .com only though. And yeah it comes with a resin floor . It should also be easy to clean too. I HOPE! They sell them every where even at Ace Hardware but only online. Just cheapest for me at Walmart.com. Thanks Stormy

why do you think you cannot attach anything to a metal wall?

use screws and washers..

or screw a piece of board or plywood to the wall and attach your nests to that..

run your screws through from the outside into the wood you want to mount..

getting the idea??

======================
Because the metal siding is too thin to support the weight of something like a roost loaded with chickens, or wooden nest boxes. Most cheap metal buildings are just that... cheap.

The suncast sheds slowly break down in the sun...it takes about 5 yrs but the get brittle and break...we opted to build a wood one from a kit. If you decide you would rather a wooden one find yourself a handyman locally and get a quote to build one from a kit...just an idea. I'm sure it will work fine for now though!
Good luck

p.s. buy the biggest one you can afford because in a year you'll have 10,000,000 chickens

how much was you shed? I'm trying to see right now if buying a shed is cheeper then buildibg one.

the shed is like 1200.00 but for me to build one would cost more but maybe you could do it cheaper? Some one (not me) maybe could show you how to do it alot cheaper I was just taking the easy way out LOL
