Suncast Shed for Coop?

Wow lovethechickens, i love your set-up! My sister mentioned the other day that maybe a gazebo could be used as a run - yours looks great.

bwalden3 - i certainly hope we don't have bears! Maybe if one escapes from the Sacramento Zoo and takes a bus here we would have an issue.

We don't get snow, but it does get hot, into the hundreds in the summer. You are right that these things will shift apart if moved at all.

Hi Jolyn - No, not related to Airheart CPR. What area of Sac are in you? i've been searching on craigslist for a playhouse or shed. Found a way cool one last week for free, but so did everyone else, and i missed out.

Now wondering if i should look into hiring a handyman to either build a shed, or to put together a wood shed i buy from a Lowes or Home Depot. i know i will definitely want more chickens in the future, so better plan for that now.

lilchick - Maybe i will go over to Lowes and see if they have a catalog of sheds and playhouses, and see if i can find a good deal. i know i can't wait until fall!

check the yellow page for storage buildings, we have companies here that sell them all done' they bring it on a trailer. we paid 1200 for a 10x12 plywood floor, metal siding, steel door,. they come smaller

Thank you for the tip. i did check our yellow pages, but didn't find any good deals. So i went ahead and ordered that Savannah shed from Home Depot online. It was the last day of the sale yesterday, so decided to just go for it. Hopefully it won't be too hard to put together.
