Sunday was not a good day for me.

We moved the chicken coop ok? Well one of my supposed helpers didn't help. He decided it was more important to help a total stranger than help the woman he was living off of rent free. We got the coop moved and then the other shed. I came in and got mad at the guy and literally threw his stuff out of my house. I picked up a 110 lb stereo speaker box and promptly dropped it on my toe. I looked down and said sh&^! I broke my toe! I called for my husband he took one look and we ran for the ER. I have an open fracture and being diabetic that is not a good thing to happen to my toe. So I spent all day yesterday vomiting up the medicines they gave me and I couldn't play with my chickens. They gave me a boot but the stupid thing hits where the cut is on my toe and it makes it bleed everytime. Then also on Sunday we noticed Annie our little stray was looking peaked. She hadn't been eating either. Yesterday morning we went out and she was dead. One of my ducks got hit this morning. So the past two days have been bad BUT the is a little sunshine on the horizon. Back in Nov my sister in law Natalie lost her baby. This would have been my bro's first child. Well Natalie has been sick all week. I think that maybe there may be a wee one on the way!!!!!

Yikes! You have had a couple of "those days"! You are due for some good news. Keep us updated on the "wee one" and the toe! Be sure to tell your Dr that you are not handling the meds well. There may be something else you can try.

You're not alone. Last week on my b-day my new puppy Roscoe almost lost his eye. Come to find out if you scare a pug they can pop out their own eye balls. Had to rush him to the vet and have it pushed back in. Totally nasty! Then the next day my daughter,10yrs old, played with a knife she wasn't suppose to have and cut her thumb badly. Rushed her to the dr. Thank goodness they were open so we didn't have to go to the ER. Dr said it didn't need stitches that it was cut all the way from the tip of her thumb back behind her thumb nail and that it would die and fall off. That is after it turns black. She freaked just knowing her thumb was going to turn black.
All is better now. Thumb looks a lot better and Roscoe's eye is still attached. He has been back to the vet though because of an ulcer on his eye ball. I've had him for 3 weeks and he has been to the vet 4 times. Hopefully he will out grow these probs.

Stupid jerk sent a GIRL to pick up his stuff and he still doesn't understand why I am mad at him. I can tell the difference when someone shuts off their phone.

I want to whine about my toe. It hurts. My regular doctor is sending me to a podiatrist. Great more money. He doesn't think it is too bad just to pay attention to it and if it looks nasty to come back in. I want to play with my chicks. My girls are getting so big!!!
