The weather was GORGEOUS today and so I took my camera out to play a little. What better subjects than chickens?!

I caught my favorite pullet cheating on me!!! No fair!

My chicks are quite affectionate and loving...

They are also pretty scared by the big outside world!!

Thanks so much everyone for the kind compliments!! It makes me happy to share with others - 'cause I'm just a Slight bit in love with my birds and only marginally proud of them, of course... hee hee hee... Who Isn't?!

Those are absolutely stunning! My favorite has to be the two chicks sleeping under the blanket.

That is actually my pant leg - I am wearing fleecy pajama pants and when one of the dogs barked they all dove under my leg. Guess they still need their mama(like I ever get tired of That!). It was really funny to watch them all wriggle their way into the tightest most secure spot possible. Then I guess they felt really safe 'cause they started to snooze. I love being the mama.
