Super African goslings!!

Ok, they are here, sorry it took me so long to reply! I wound up taking a very last minute trip out of state for the weekend, and I had to leave the day after my birds got here and just got back late yesterday afternoon. They are beautiful birds, and I love them to death, but am a little worried about the little girl's health. Is this a good place to ask the goose people for advice, or should I go to the section for illnesses/injuries? Thanks!
Here would be good.

OK, so here is what is happening. My little girl goose arrived with eye problems, the third eyelid on both eyes was very swollen and red, one was bad enough she couldn't see out of it. I rinsed them with sugar/salt water and put in some Terramyicin antibiotic ointment and they look much better, although the eye that was worst is still not quite normal. I was out of town over the weekend, and came home to find that the little girl is now having a respiratory problem too, her nostrils are caked with snot and she sounds wheezy and rattly when she breathes. She has had plenty of water, and deep enough water for her to dip her head in. I think they are about three weeks old, although I am having trouble getting an answer about their age. Can anyone tell me what I should be giving her to help, or what this may be? I would prefer to use natural/herbal type remedies, but I am quite willing to use just about anything that will help my little goose.

I would suggest also posting a new thread on this forum (Geese) just in case people don't read this one. Try giving the little gosling some Vitamins/ Electrolytes mix in water... I dont think it'll help the symptoms outright, but it'll definitely help her feel a better & give her some strength. And make sure to clean her water more frequently than usual.

I hope someone else can offer you the cause and a better solution
