1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Got in to chickens in 2015 (they were an anniversary gift from my husband
)
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 250 chickens,20 ducks, 3 turkeys, and 24 guineas.
(3) What breeds do you have? Marans, ameraucanas, Plymouth rocks, buckeyes, brahmas, sapphire gems, salmon favorells, and a whole lot more (plus chicks hatched from those mixes)
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Their personalities
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Gardening. We live and work on a 160 acre farm. Never a dull moment
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. Married with 1 kiddo, 8 dogs, 2 horses, cattle, and sheep.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
