Hello all, this is my first time incubating. Apparently the humidity sensor on the incubator has been wrong this entire time. It was reading normal range. I purchased a hygrometer and it read humidity almost 90%!! I know it is accurate. I’m almost on day 13 and the air cells are the size you would expect them to be on day 7 or so. I already moved the eggs to a different incubator that I hope I will have better luck with (we already had it).
Please, tell me, did I mess up the development by having the humidity too high?
ALSO
How do I get the air cells to grow quickly?!

Air cells grow over time, so you can't do anything to make them get bigger quickly.
I have read there are things you can do to speed up the growth but I’m already doing most of those so was looking for additional information.
Am I just totally screwed here???

High humidity makes the chicks grow large, so large it takes up the air cell space. So..you can't shrink a chick.
What day are you on? If it's early you still could be ok. If not, some chicks might still hatch.

I didn’t realize it made the chick grow larger. I thought it only affected the air cell. I’m on day 13 😕 I’m kicking myself for not getting a hygrometer sooner.

Try lowering the humidity than normal for a day or two.I hope that might work.
I am not a hatching specialist.am just saying.
