I have a chick that is a lot larger than the other chicks, but all are about the same stage of development (feather growth, comb development etc). The chick is yellow, has a single comb and orange-ish feet, pink skin. The chick is extremely mellow (yup, we call it mellow yellow) . I've included a pic of it next to others. Next to it is a barred rock.. I'm curious if anyone has ideas of breed.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Tractor Supply. I know it's not a leghorn because they didn't have any of that breed. I can't remember if they had Orpington's. Hubby and I each picked 6 chicks and I can't remember what he picked. I picked 2 Wyndotts, 2 barred rocks, and 2 bantams. This is a chick that he picked.
Did they have Cornish X?

That's a Cornish X! I have about 40 right now; 1 wk old, 3 wks old and 6 wks old. I recognize that spotty feathering. Pretty soon, you'll notice that its legs and feet are going to grow to cartoonish thickness and it will waddle when it walks in order to keep its weight centered over its widely spaced legs.

They're happy, easy-going birds but pure gluttons and are literal poop factories.
