Super large egg layer

[Agnes the Wonder Chicken]

I have a Black Sex Link chicken, Agnes. She lays the largest eggs I have ever seen. Is this normal for this breed or is she just "special"? It amazes me that this size egg actually comes out of her. The people I sell eggs to always want the Agnes eggs and giggle like school children when they open the container and look at them. I would love to get some more chickens that lay these very large eggs.

Sorry not special. I wince every time I see one of my sex link eggs. I can't even close the lid on a Jumbo carton.

Now you may get more and they only lay the "large" every once in a while.
