Expert by no means, but do I really enjoy it--resounding YES. I've learned what works by trial and error. It may sound silly to some of you folks, but every hatch is awaited with excitement and anticipation. If someone had a recorder on me they'd think I was crazy talking to newly hatched chicks, actually, I talk to all my animals.

No matter how many hatches I do, I'm still thrilled every time a chick hatches. Really, the only difference is that I'm not as much of a nervous wreck anymore lol. And I talk to our animals (and even the eggs in the incubator) more than I'd like for people to know - they're the best listeners after all
