If you plan on keeping the meat bird, there are a lot of videos on YT on how to process them.

Here is a good video of how to butcher a chicken by hand (no expensive machinery).

Thanks for the video link. Don’t know I can do that! I’ll look into a processor near me. I guess I’ll learn if I want to raise meaties or not

Welcome to BYC! I hate you got a meat bird by mistake. Some people do manage to keep them as pets, but they have to manage their diet and monitor them closely to keep their weight down.
