Yesterday I found a super soft egg in the nesting box...I didn't think to much about it. I tossed it in the trash. Today I found another....What is going on? The girls eat layer pellets, grass (our lawn) and bugs they find. I don't know which hen is laying the bad eggs.

If it continues, I would offer them more calcium. You can give them Oyster shells or you can save your eggs shells. If you use the egg shells, make sure you smash them up real good. Whatever you use, offer it free choice. Chickens will only eat it if they need it. After putting it out, the first one to eat it is likely the thin shell layer.

Ok...I gave them oyster shells yesterday. I will keep you posted. TY

You should probably keep oyster shell in a separate container 24/7. That way they will eat as needed. The first week or so it is offered, you may go through a lot, but then they should mellow out and only eat it as needed.

I had a similar situation a few months ago, only got one soft egg, so I gave them crushed egg shells, eggs been OK ever since.

I can't buy oyster shell here, but why would you wish to buy a product when feeding back the egg shells seems to work just fine? Just curious.
