One of my older hens keeps laying eggs with a super thick membrane, I'll go to crack the egg for breaky and literally cannot puncher the membrane with my thumbs, I have to use a knife to puncher it.
I know chicks have an egg tooth and all but if even I can't get through it, I can't imagine how a chick will.
Is this going to be a major problem when I incubate the eggs?
