An effort is being made to put as many birds as possible in the hands of serious breeders. Anyone serious about keeping these lines going can, or already did, buy before the auctions. Asking prices are very reasonable. I'm sure the dispersal could have been run in a more cost effective way if there was no effort made to keep the remaining stock in the gene pool. Tom
I would love to be able to help, but in light of a number of changes pending here (not the least of which is my older daughter going off to college), I am actually downsizing this year. I'm getting out of Dutch in fact.
I will still have Buckeyes in large fowl and bantam, but that's it. No other breeds of poultry. Just can't do it. So although I'd love to help, just can't.
