Supervised Introductions. How old should they be?

My little ones are about 3 weeks old now, and we've been taking them outside to get used to it, plus to introduce them to the two big ducks through a fence. Is it too early for supervised introductions in the same pen? I haven't seen any aggression so far, and the big girls seem curious.

I'd say 3 weeks old is good. They are big enough to hold their own a little, but not big enough yet to be considered a threat to the large ducks you have. I had my ducks outside getting used to it when they were a week and a half old. Let the big ducks see the little 3 week olds, then after they seem comfortable let the little ones in the pen. When I do introductions I have my friend come and stand about 2 feet away and if there is any aggression they can either grab the animals showing aggregation or shield the ducklings.

It went hilariously. After one aborted charge by one of the big ducks, little Pepper decided that she was in charge of the pen.
