Is this a silkie? It was sold to me with a bunch of silkie hatching eggs. Only 3 toes. Is it supposed to be buff? The poor thing had trouble walking the first day(see first pic) but is able to now. The other are eggs from her too. Does anyone know what colors the other silkies will be? TIA

not sure what that abbrev...old english game bantam? :)Do they have feather feet cause this one does but its hard to see in the pic. Do they have a really wide stance like this one?

The first one is not a silkie....Silkies have black skin (those legs are not black!

) sorry to say but I don't know what it is, looks like it might be a cutie though. The colors look correct on the rest, though I've never seen a partridge silkie chick, so that's cool to know what it looks like (sense I'm planning on breeding, hopefully) Good luck finding what the white one is...I had one that looked like that, still do only it's stance isn't so big.

I would check with the person you got the eggs from and ask what other breeds they have. It beats guessing. It is not a Silkie, but the rest are and darn cute to boot. But show me a chick that isn't cute.

I think it has a single comb but its so small it's hard to definitely tell. It does have 3 toes and feathered feet.
I emailed the breeder this morning and she told me that she told me that she only has silkies. She also said that the bird I thought was partridge is a split lavender and that she doesn't have them marked in her pen so that explains the markings. I'm confused will I get a lavender bird and will it produce lavenders...?
