Hi, suspect I have been sold eggs that were in fact not pure. Thoughts? TIA

Is it not unusual for BO's to have black marks on head and wings? Are they likely to fade if legit BO's. Wasn't aware of this if so as assumed should be totally yellow. Thanks

I don't think that they are pure Buff Orpingtons. I've never seen a Buff Orpington chick with black on its head.

Could the two with no imperfections be the real deal and if so how could that occur? Many chooks in one pen or something?

I'd be contacting the seller and asking them to explain. The two birds could be pure, but you'll not be able to tell for sure til they're more mature.

Yep will most certainly be doing so... Pervaded from a lady who incubated eggs from the above add. Believe the lady that bought them from as she is just as suprised as me. She is going to call breeder and let me know. She thinks only thing that might have happened is that breeder has sent Buff Sussex eggs by 'accident'. Still will be far from impressed if this the case. Such a letdown after finally thinking I had some as have wanted for so long. :-(
