I put an ad in the paper that I was looking for call ducks, got a response and picked up these two (see pic). They are about the right size (maybe a little big) but i don't think they are calls. Their bills are a little too long i think. They are mallard-looking, but have a more grey overall tone to them (wing speculums aren't bright blue, but a rather gray color), and heads have a very slight green tint to them in the sun, but mostly a dark khaki green-gray color.

Any idea as to a breed/type of duck they are?

Thanks!

they look way too big to be calls? how much do you think they weigh if you had to guess? I'm getting pet quality calls on friday morning they too have long beaks but still look like calls just not as typey...but your cuties look almost like mallards or rouens?

This probably wasn't the best picture. The "pond" they are in is actually a 3 gallon horse feed bowl! It's only about 12-14 inches across the top, so it's not very big. The ducks are small enough to hold in one hand. I have had mallards and rouens before, and these are smaller than those.

Thanks for the input and help!

I have one of those ducks, they aren't calls, but they are for sure a pure bred because the man I got mine from only sells pures. I don't know for sure what they are. Maybe a Khaki Campbell?

They look like Calls to me. They are probably Blue Fawn, or possibly Pastel. It is hard to tell in the pic.
