Supposedly RIR and ?

A nice couple gave me this rooster the other day and said he was part Rhode Island Red. Any input on if this looks true and what else might be in him?

Out of curiosity... could you get a closer (preferably frontal view) of the comb please?

Not full blooded Rhode Island red... I would say New Hampshire red but...
Interestingly, he looks like he has a has a 1/2 single 1/2 pea comb (as opposed to the traditional full single comb that adorns both the New Hampshire Red and Rhode Island Red). This makes me think he's a cross breed... I only know because I have a rooster that is the result of crossing a pea combed chicken with a single combed one so I researched it. His comb is Identical to the one on your rooster.
Pea combs are most commonly seen on Easter Eggers, Amaraucanas, Araucanas and Buckeyes.

That side shot makes a big difference! In the side shot, I couldn't see the duplicity in his comb.

I guess him to be a partial buttercup comb or pea comb (buttercup or pea comb x single comb, I would think by the looks), which would make your roo (according to a mere guess on my part) the result of a Sicilian buttercup or Pea combed chicken crossed with something else that is large, single combed and yellow legged (like a Rhode Island Red or New Hampshire Red... but there are many other possibilities).
Rhode island Red would make sense if whoever gave you the rooster said it was a Rhode Island Red.

Again though, that is just my guess... chicken crosses can be confusing and it is hard to be sure.

He’s a mixed breed. Possibly Easter Egger.

He could definitely have RIR in him, or another similar breed such as new hampshire red. Judging by his body shape, he looks like he's also part brahma.
