Sad update tonight.

After I’d been gone for 5 days…..
Today… 2 chicks escaped the dog crate and one wAs killed and partially eaten while trying to hide. Considering where I found the remains. This is the only logic I can come to at this point.

So we lost one of the black winged chicks and I was lucky to find the tan belly gray fluffy chick… whom I have decided to nickname whodini, the escape artist.

Dang it. Almost a year to this date of sad news I have another sad update. 1 of the remaining very large Roo’s from this batch just up & died over night.

Like several other threads … this too needs serious updating…
