Surprise Chick

I recieved this surprise chick with my order from McMurray Hatchery. I have 2 Blue Andalusian, 3 Whiting True Blue, 6 Red Stars and 3 Buff Orpingtons. Google lenses is saying this one might be a Whiting True Blue. What do y'all think?

It could be a whiting true blue. Either that, or one of their other new hybrids that lay colored eggs.

Do you think male or female? They are 7 wks old

Would need clear pics of comb & wattles to make the best guess on gender, but it looks pretty good for a pullet.

Agreed, that's the 'true blue'... which is an easter egger. So it could lay green, if female.

I think they're bred to, but it depends on whatever is mixed with where ever the blue egg gene comes from. If there's a brown layer in there, then green. If a white layer, then blue.

I agree. The Whitings seem to frequently have this look
