Surprise Ducklings!!! what do you think? PIX!!!!!

So.... the random bunch of eggs that everyone was laying under my shed 2 months ago... was sat on for 5 weeks by a pair of my duck ladies, and surprise! This morning there were 5 little ducks. We've got a mallard male, and 2 KCs, 1 blue Swede, 1 splash swede, 1 Pekin, 1 Cayuga, &1 Indian runner (black). So.... 3 of the babies look just like a mallard baby, with black feet (what color do regular mallard babies have for feet?) and one looks like a Black swede. and one looks like I don't know what... Can you tell me who the mamas might have been? I figure a swede mom for the swede looking baby, but we have no mallard females.....

Wow, usually maternity is not a question for baby animals, lol.

And, mallards have black feet for about the first two weeks, usually.

Hmm, one looks Rouen (or if you say you only have a mallard, then it looks mallard), one looks black Swedish and the other looks like a mix.

Should be interesting watching them grow up and feather out.
