Surprise egg outdoors

Hi! My 11 month old ladies have been laying for months now, and always in their boxes (with the exception of their first few). I found surprise egg outside today- very odd. Is this normal or could it mean something is wrong? I don’t know who layed it! Thanks!

Sometimes if a hen is very fluffy, the egg sticks to her bum fluff, then it falls off later in the yard.

I found one in the run yesterday too, from a pullet who's been laying for probably 3 months. Sometimes it happens. She's a goof so I assume she was torn between laying in the coop or eating the broth making scraps I put out so she kept running back & forth & just dropped it at some point. It's not out of the ordinary, unless it becomes habit I wouldn't worry.

I had one lay outside the other day not sure why. I think maybe the other hen was laying in her spot and she couldn't wait? Has not happened since.

Sometimes I find an egg on the floor. I figure that either a hen couldn't hold it any longer while the boxes were occupied or that it got kicked out when someone was rearranging the bedding in the boxes.

I just had a random run egg this morning. It was from one of my old gals, and they're a little absent minded when it comes to laying since they don't lay regularly any more.
