Surprise guests in the pea pen...

I have one of the chain link pens where I worry constantly about the Guineas getting out. The door area has a huge gap at the bottom. I have tried putting wood over it and zip tying more wire on it to make an extra flap but it gets messed up with the opening and closing of the gate. I suppose I am not as handy as I thought. I am not as worried about critters, though that is kinda crazy. I trust in my LGD way too much.

Skunk. .ug...n. .az. here. This year we had so bad guys hitting peas coup. Took a chunk of neck feathers one nite. 5 peas eggs. ? Brahma eggs.

2 are buried in the yard. There kids still come digging @ graves. My faithful dog? He dost like the way they smell.

We are Couping now a polebarn. We are using salvage metal sheets around the whole coup and under the fencing. To stop skunk and other preditors.

Wow, Zaz, you are so right about the bottom of the chain link.
I don't believe that anything was getting in there, but there were definitely big gaps between where the chain link was tied onto the bottom rail. So I went around and ziptied everything - now it's tight.
Thanks for that tip, and for those of you who use chain link, please take a look yourselves!
