I lifted up the outside door to the nest box today and the two boxes both had chickens in them. I figured since the hens tails were pointed towards me I'd check for bugs. I lifted the tail of the first one....bug free. Lifted tail #2 and was surprised to see an
egg 1/4 or so of the way out. I apologized profusely and closed the door. She took it in stride and finished laying. I guess I don't really have a point to make, just sharing.
