Surprise, mom, we’re all grown up!

Seems like yesterday our Swedish Flower hens were little fuzzies running around the brooder bin. Today I came out to the shed to find this:

Wasn’t expecting eggs for a while yet. I guess the short days aren't fully stopping the process.

And I’m starting to think that with this bunch, my usual alfalfa hay in nest boxes may not work.
