Surprise, unexpected chick!

So sorry but, some of them may turn out to be attractive enough to keep them.

I'm sure they will! Nevertheless I'm keeping them all if all goes well. I have 14 chickens now, including 7 chicks!

Hello everyone, I thought for their 3 week "birthday" I'd give an update on each of them. Im going to do 3 posts, so sorry for the spam! It'll just be easier.
I'll start with Spunky, who is the sweetest little chickie ever!! Loves to be petted and is simply adorable.

Next is Oreo and Jaffa, they both have smooth feathers.
Oreo is the smallest

On the other hand, Jaffa is the largest and most developped with chest feathers already coming in. They're cuckoo colours!

Last but not least are Lemon and Puffy. I'm thinking these may be pure silkies! These 2 are the most skittish too!
Lemon is a lighter grey and smaller in size.

Puffy is darker and larger.

This story is so cute and fun! I came across it accidentally but glad I did We have had experiences with not always getting what you thought but it definitely made it a lot more fun and exciting! We are going to hatch some Silkie chicks soon so this makes me even more excited seeing a cute hatching story like this.

I agree with 2 pure, 2 mixes but I don't think Spunky is a pure polish because he has 5 toes.
