She ran out from hiding signaling the pack it was time she snapped at the young bucks legs as he ran from her. Then rusty metal jaws closed on her front paw. Blizzard fell to the ground yelping in pain as she struggled to release her foot from the jaws grasp
 
Blood dripped from Blizzards paw. She growled through clenched teeth at the trap that was latched to her leg.
 
Luckily the trap Blizzard had stepped into didn't work very having a loose grip on her foot.
She took her other paw and pushed the trap away her paw stained with blood
 
Blizzard released her paw from the trap she limped toward camp mad at herself for failing to feed the pack
 
Levi had eaten all of the rabbit, apart from it's bones, so she stood up and stretched.
She looked around, she was wondering what to do.
 
Blizzard was half way to camp when she spotted a rabbit caught in a snare it screamed and wiggled trying to free itself. "Finally, some easier game." She thought to herself as she trotted toward the snare trying not to put weight on her injured paw
 
She leaped in the air and grabbed the rabbit by it's hind legs. It screamed with terror as its life slipped away. She pulled at it until the snare line snapped around the rabbits neck. She lumped back toward camp happy that she had at least got something for the pack
 
Levi was close to Blizzard's camp.
She watched them for a couple of minutes, then she walked away.
 
Blizzard dropped the rabbit on the ground and lay next to a small spruce tree licking her wounds
