Brier nodded and looked to Cara.

Cara smiled and walked over to Brier and Luna. She sat down, then set Dusk down so she could look at Luna, sniffing the young pup, then gently picking her up to bring her to her belly so she could nurse. "She's lovely" Cara said then glanced to Shadow and smiled

Luna began to nurse. She was really hungry.

Shadow smiled.

Cara eased down and brought Dusk to her, letting the youth sniff at her new adopted sister.

Sorrel turned her head toward Oak with a mouth full of duckweed. As she started to head back onto the bank, she spotted fur in the tree line. A growl left her throat
