Silver was just about to pounce, when she became aware of the huge cat a few meters away from her. She froze, staring at it and almost daring it to try hurt her or take her prey

It jumped up and tried to run away. Niko chased it again. He jumped on its back and got to its neck. He bit into its skull. His teeth went into its skull. Then it's brain. It fell over.
